What happened to MekTek?
After MechWarrior 4 had run its course, MekTek moved away from the BattleTech franchise to make a stand-alone game using the Heavy Gear license. Called Heavy Gear Assault, the game was released on Steam Early Access way back in February of 2017. Heavy Gear Assault stopped receiving updates in August of 2017.

Can you play Mechwarrior 4 online?
Online Multiplayer If you want to play Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries online you can find hosted game servers using Game Ranger. Currently Game Ranger is the only way I know of to get this game running stable while playing multiplayer. If you don’t like using Game Ranger then you’re SOL.

- mount the ISO on virtual drive (recommend deamon tools lite)
