How do you measure 7 grams of dry yeast?

  1. 1 1/2 spoons will be fine.
  2. Baking needs to be accurate.
  3. Two level teaspoons equals 7g of yeast.
  4. Use 2 teaspoons (5ml) for 7g of yeast.
  5. I just use 1 and a half 5ml measures and accept its half a gram out….
  6. If you put 1 and 1/2 it will be 7.5 grams.

How do you measure 7 grams yeast?

(1) A packet of yeast is typically 7g exactly. So if you’re buying yeast by the packet, use one packet. But assuming you will be measuring from bulk yeast, the correct measure by volume would be 2 1/4 tsp instead of 2 1/2 tsp.
