How do I get a programming job with no experience?

Here’s how you get experience without working a job or internship

  1. Creating side projects.
  2. Contributing to open source projects.
  3. Starting a side business.

Is it hard to find work as a programmer?

Since there is a global labor shortage in the field, it is not that hard. Most of the companies struggle to find (good) programmers, and since it is sometimes very-very hard to find / pay a senior coder, they will hire a junior and make their best to educate them fast.

Can I teach myself code and get a job?

It may come as a surprise to you, but many professional programmers are self-taught. As long as you are able to demonstrate your programming skills during the recruitment process, you will be able to get a job as a software developer. And there are many reasons why you may want to be a programmer.

Should I learn SQL or Python first?
