Nevada Child Labor Laws Any individual under the age of 18 legally stands as a minor in the State of Nevada. Minors as young as 14 can receive employment, provided they have consent from their parents. Official work permits are unnecessary for these underage employees.

A work permit is not required for a child who is fourteen or older in the State of Nevada. Generally, a child under fourteen must have a work permit signed by the court to be employed.
